Our Valued Industry Associations
Automotive Industry Action Group
Founded in 1982 as the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) by the three largest North American automotive OEMS, AIAG is a unique not-for-profit organization where companies in the mobility industries have worked collaboratively to drive down cost and complexity in the supply chain. Our membership includes leading global mobility manufacturers, their part suppliers, service providers, and associated global organizations, and government entities.
We promote our objectives primarily by publishing standards and offering educational conferences and training. Member companies donate the time of volunteers to work at AIAG in a legal, non-competitive, open forum that is intended to develop recommendations, guidelines and best practices for the overall good of the mobility industries.

Quality Information Framework
The Quality Information Framework (QIF) is a unified XML framework standard for computer-aided quality QIF systems, available free to all implementers.
QIF enables the capture, use, and re-use of metrology-related information throughout the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) domains.
QIF was created by The Digital Metrology Standards Consortium (DMSC TM). DMSC is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the QIF standard, as well as the Dimensional Measuring Interface Standard (DMIS). The DMSC is an ANSI accredited Standards Developing Organization as well as an A-Liaison to ISO. The DMSC invites participation within the consortium of other standards groups and activities that seek to resolve technological inefficiencies and other issues related to digital metrology.
